Dr. Prem Jain, ‘Father of the Green Building movement in India’, was instrumental in single handedly creating a GREEN BHARAT. He ushered in a paradigm shift in the way buildings are conceived and designed in our country. Dr. Jain took over as Chairman of Indian Green Building Council in 2007 and led IGBC in achieving more than 2.25 Billion Sq.ft of green footprint by 2018. During his journey, he facilitated a record high of 60 platinum and 40 gold awards from IGBC & USGBC for Green Building designs in India.
